The AikyaNova MAX30102 PPG SpO₂ Sensor Kit is a complete biomedical learning module designed for engineering students, makers, and STEM educators who want to explore heart rate and blood oxygen sensing without the hassle of complex assembly. Unlike bare sensor breakout boards, this kit comes pre-soldered with header pins — just plug it into your breadboard and you are ready to go.
At the heart of the kit is the MAX30102 high-sensitivity PPG biosensor, which uses infrared and red LED-based photoplethysmography (PPG) to measure Heart Rate (BPM) and Blood Oxygen Saturation (SpO₂) in real time. Readings are displayed instantly on the onboard 0.96" OLED screen, giving you a complete standalone demo experience right out of the box.
Communication is handled over a standard I²C interface, making this kit compatible with virtually any 3.3V or 5V microcontroller. Whether you are building a college biomedical project, prototyping a wearable health sensor, or simply learning how PPG signal processing works, this kit gives you a solid hardware foundation to start from.
To get you up and running even faster, AikyaNova provides free downloadable sample code and step-by-step tutorials on GitHub — covering everything from basic heart rate reading to SpO₂ calculation. No hunting for libraries, no guesswork.
Please note: This is an educational demo board intended for learning and prototyping purposes only. It is not a certified medical device and should not be used for clinical diagnosis or patient monitoring.
Technical Specifications
Frequently asked questions
Who is this board for?
This board is ideal for engineering students, researchers, makers, and developers who want to prototype SpO₂ and heart-rate measurement systems. It's also suitable for proof-of-concept healthcare IoT projects and academic lab work.
Do I need the ESP32 variant?
If you already have an Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or another microcontroller, the standalone board is sufficient — it communicates over I²C. Choose the ESP32 variant if you want Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connectivity out of the box, or if you don't already have a development board.
Is the firmware open-source?
Yes. All purchasers receive access to the full source code on GitHub — including the Arduino library, ESP32 firmware, and example sketches. You can modify and extend it freely for personal and academic use.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept all major payment methods through Razorpay — UPI (PhonePe, GPay, Paytm), Debit & Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, RuPay), Net Banking, and EMI options on select cards.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are dispatched within 2–3 business days. Delivery typically takes 4–7 business days across India. You will receive a tracking number via email once shipped.
